The Global Marine Aquarium Database (GMAD) provides quantitative information on the trade in marine aquarium species. It is based on the sales records of commercial companies, probably the best source for the trade of species not recorded under CITES or other processes.
GMAD was developed and is maintained by the United Nations Environment Program, World Conservation Monitoring Center (UNEP WCMC) in close collaboration with the Marine Aquarium Council (MAC). UNEP WCMC is an international center of excellence in the location and |
