As required by the International Social and Environmental Accreditation and Labelling (ISEAL) Alliance whose MAC is a member, MAC has developed the MAC Standard Setting Procedure according to the ISEAL Code of Good Practice. This document was subject to peer review by other ISEAL members and includes procedures on: developing new standards, review and revision of the existing MAC Standards, complaint resolution mechanisms, and a number of other areas.
MAC is thus reviewing its existing Standards scheme, and thus will only accept new submission to become a MAC Accredited Certifiers in 2008. |
